Description
The subject leader toolkit is designed to support experienced subject leaders, or those new to the role, to help them prepare for an OFSTED ‘Deep Dive’ inspection. Although it may seem like a daunting experience, with the right preparation you will not only succeed, but excel, in your subject Deep Dive. There are two distinct elements to a ‘Deep Dive’, which the toolkit helps provide evidence for.
- Curriculum Design (Intent) – the rationale behind the construction of the curriculum
- Subject leadership – how a subject leader’s actions have directly improved standards in a subject

The Toolkit contents
